We report the application of next generation sequencing for measurement of mRNA levels under the effect of a macrocyclic inhibtor of human decapping enzyme 2 (hDcp2). Overall design: Examination of mRNA levels 0 h and 2 h after transcription block by actinomycin D in HEK293T cells treated by either 2 μM macrocyclic inhibitor CP25 or the same volume of vehicle for 18 h in triplicate.
