UPI penetration rate in India 2020, by income group

As of 2020, UPI emerged as the preferred payment method within 56 percent of the bottom income pyramid in India. The penetration rate was same in the top tier of the income pyramid. United Payment Interface is a widely used payment method in India and the recent introduction of UPI 123Pay for feature phone users and UPILite for offline transactions has enabled its wider penetration in the market.

截至2020年，联合支付接口（United Payment Interface，简称UPI）已成为印度底层56%收入阶层首选的支付手段。在收入阶层的顶层，其渗透率亦保持一致。联合支付接口在印度被广泛采用，近期为功能手机用户推出的UPI 123Pay以及为离线交易设计的UPILite的引入，进一步推动了其在市场中的广泛渗透。
