Comparative Transcriptomics of Oleidesulfovibrio alaskensis G20 Biofilms

This study investigates how Oleidesulfovibrio alaskensis G20, a sulfate-reducing bacterium, adapts to different surfaces by analyzing its gene expression profiles. Using RNA sequencing, we compared biofilms grown on copper (Cu) and polycarbonate (PC) surfaces to understand the genetic mechanisms underlying surface-specific biofilm formation, stress responses, and metabolic adaptations.
