资源简介:

This load displacement data is a part of the journal article titled "Improving the ductility of additively manufactured stainless steel 316L using an in-situ hybrid additive-subtractive manufacturing approach". This dataset comprises load-displacement curves up to fracture for three additively manufactured (hybrid vs. non-hybrid) notched SS316L steel specimens. The specimens were loaded at a constant crosshead displacement rate of 0.1 mm/min, and two samples were tested for each geometry. A virtual extensometer with a length of 14mm was used to measure displacement in the gage region of all uniaxial tension test specimens using the DIC software VIC3D. The hybrid AM specimens consistently exhibited higher ductility than the corresponding non-hybrid specimens across all notch geometries, with an enhancement ranging from 10.8% to 55.36%.
