This repository contains the replication data, econometric software files, and output logs for the research article: "From Industrial Ladders to Post-Industrial Manifolds: A Geometric Reconstruction of Economic Complexity Through Multi-Layer Fitness", submitted to Structural Change and Economic Dynamics. Contents: MLEF_Dataset.xlsx: The harmonized panel dataset (41 economies, 2007–2023) containing the calculated Material Layer ($F_M$) and Cognitive Layer ($F_C$) fitness scores, alongside macroeconomic control variables. MLEF_Model_Results.xlsx: Full statistical outputs and diagnostic logs corresponding to the manuscript's Appendices and Supplementary Online Materials (SOM). This includes: SOM C: Distributional Diagnostics (Kurtosis, Skewness) SOM D: Unit Root Tests (CIPS, PANIC) SOM E: Panel Granger Causality Results SOM F: System GMM Regression Outputs SOM G: Factorial Decomposition Matrices SOM H: Markov-Switching VAR Regime Outputs MLEF_Analysis_Project.wf1: The original EViews workfile containing the structured panel data and estimated equation objects, allowing for direct replication of the dynamic panel models. Methodology: The dataset applies the Multi-Layer Economic Fitness (MLEF) framework to decompose economic complexity into orthogonal capability axes (Material vs. Cognitive) and analyzes their interaction through dynamic panel estimation.
