Time and space distribution of monthly drought dataset in One Belt One Road area (1998 – 2015)

The Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission Satellite (TRMM) 3B43 precipitation data was used to calculate the spatio-temporal distribution of monthly drought in 216 months in One Belt One Road area from 1998 to 2015 based on the Precipitation Abnormity Percentage model, which provided reliable basic input data for analyzing the distribution patterns and dynamic changes of drought in the region. The total 324 MB drought distributions are in TIF format, and TRMM dataset has high authenticity when verified by ground station point data.
