Identification of an early-heading mutant in Indonesian native rice cultivar: 'Gemdjah Beton'

Gemdjah Beton (GB) is an Indonesian rice cultivar. It lengthier vegetative phase when its grown under natural LD conditions in Japan. We created an early heading mutant line in the GB background (GB-10) and flowered around two weeks earlier than the GB plants in the field. The current study identify the candidate SNV that occurred in the GB-10 which leads to its early flowering phenotype. This sequence data was used to analyze and identify the candidate SNV.
