Tweets2Stance Dataset

This dataset comprises tweets collected from the official Twitter accounts of six major political parties during the 2019 European Parliament and municipal elections in Italy. These tweets center on the stances of these parties toward 20 political statements. The dataset includes preprocessed tweets with extraneous noise removed, as well as their English-translated versions. Built on the six major political parties and their collected tweets, this dataset is designed for the task of detecting political parties' stances based on Twitter user-generated content.
