Nurses' Health Study Pilot. Homo sapiens

This project sought to determine the prevalence, somatic mutation profile and stability of rare subclonal mutations in the hematopoietic compartment of healthy individuals. To answer these questions we studied paired banked samples obtained from healthy participants of the Nurses' Health Study. We combined targeted capture of AML-associated genes and error-corrected sequencing to identify and track these subclonal mutations.
