Cloude Shift is a secure, intelligent, and user-friendly data migration platform designed to simplify the process of moving data from on-premises and cloud systems into Snowflake—without writing a single line of code.

Whether you’re migrating from ERP systems, or relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, SAP BW, SAP ECC and SAP databases (HANA, IBM DB2).

Cloude Shift enables a seamless, auditable, and secure transition into Snowflake. The solution combines an agent-based extraction utility (deployed in your environment) with a Snowflake Native App purpose-built for efficient and governed data loading.

Cloude Shift simplifies migration through two core components:

- Agent-Based Data Extraction: <br/> Delivered as a lightweight agent that you install in your source environment. The agent connects to supported source systems, extracts data, and securely transfers it to a designated cloud storage location (your staging area). Setup guidance and support are provided during onboarding. 

- Snowflake-Native Data Loader: <br/> This is the heart of the Cloude Shift application available in Snowflake. It connects to your configured cloud storage location, loads the data into Snowflake tables, and optionally performs transformations. The app provides built-in monitoring, reconciliation (e.g., row counts), and audit logging—directly inside your Snowflake UI.

How It Works

1. Install and Configure the Agent (outside the app) <br/> Extract data from your source systems to your cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob). 

2. Deploy the Cloude Shift Snowflake App <br/> Launch the native app within your Snowflake account. 

3. Define Storage Path & Load <br/> Use the app UI to define your storage location and target tables. 

4. Monitor & Reconcile <br/> Leverage built-in dashboards, logs, and reconciliation tools—all within Snowflake.
