This dataset presents the intention to adopt Infrastructure as-a Service-Based E-learning from the perspective of the ICT directorates top managers in Nigeria in the Nigerian Universities. The data were collected from the North-Central, North-West, and North-East regions of Nigeria. The questionnaires were distributed via a face-to-face method, where Relative Advantage (6 items), Compatibility (6 items), Trust (3 items), Security (3 items), Top Management Support (6 items), Cost Savings (4 items), Competitive Pressure (7 items), Service Provider Support (7 items), Government Support (4 items) and the Intention to Adopt Infrastructure-as-a-Service (3 items), from 454 respondents. A disproportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to select and distribute the questionnaire from 19 universities in Nigeria. The survey was further analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential, and Partial Least Square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The data will assist in adopting Infrastructure as a Service-Based e-learning system to show the essential variables for implementing and using the Infrastructure to provide an efficient and effective e-learning experience in Nigerian universities.
