Empowering the Capricorn Coast community to protect & enhance the environment.

This project will engage Capricorn Coast Landcare Group to hold 6 educational workshops and on-ground field days to educate the Capricorn Coast community, and protect and enhance the natural environment. The activities include weed information, identification and management techniques; native seed collecting and plant propagation; and tree planting events that promote native trees and bush tucker. The Capricorn Coast is undergoing rapid development and there is potential loss of connectivity of vegetation and habitat needed to maintain biodiversity. The activities will educate and empower the community to take action to conserve and protect their natural environment.
