Exploring holistic early childhood development from the perspectives of kindergarten teachers and families in the city of Nablus during the genocide in Gaza The purpose of this study is to investigate young children's well-being in Nablus, Palestine, from the viewpoints of kindergarten teachers and families, using the Holistic Early Childhood Development Index (HECDI). Three specific objectives were derived from the main goal of this study as follows: Analyzing the perception of kindergarten workers and families regarding the usefulness of the (HECDI) to accurately describe factors affecting child’s well-being, Evaluating what progress towards the (HECDI)’s indicators for children's well-being has been made in the city of Nablus, Identifying actions that could be taken in order to improve children's well-being in the city of Nablus and the agents called into action from the perspectives of kindergarten workers and families.
