Determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in Antarctic macroalgae Desmarestia sp.

This data set deals with the determined concentrations of PCB congeners in Desmarestia sp. samples collected from various locations at Admiralty Bay (King George Island). Total PCB concentrations ranged from 0.46 to 3.86 ng g–1 dry wt., and the predominance of low molecular weight congeners indicated that there were no significant local sources of PCBs at Admiralty Bay.
