The dataset contains Water Content and Bulk density data of Holocene and Upper Pleistocene seafloor sediments in the Western Black Sea (Romanian and Bulgarian EEZ) collected during DOORS cruises (MN240, MN249, MN256), 2023-2024. Sampling was performed using Van Veen Grab, multicorer and gravity сorer from seafloor depths from 26 m to 2123 m. Water Content was determined after drying at T=105°C of 65 ml sediment samples previously frozen on board. Bulk density was determined by weighing a 65 ml wet unmixed sample.
