These data files provide part processed data and source list from a compilation of key speeches and other documents from a number of major philanthropists (Azim Premji - 20 documents, George Soros 237 documents, MacKenzie Scott - 10 documents, Mark Zuckerberg - 69 documents). The complete dataset used in the research also included 16 speeches by Melinda French Gates and 58 speeches by Bill Gates. For copyright reasons it is not possible to include these in this archived dataset but they are publicly available online for consultation. Data were cleaned utilising various Python functions to make it suitable for automated coding procedures (searchable, machine readable and identifiable). The processed data files include keywords cross-tabulated by philanthrocapitalist; by year (1998-2023) and word frequency counts alongside proportions within text. The sources file identifies the text document.
