An economic block model of a hypothetical ferromanganese crust deposit at Fryer Guyot

This dataset provides supplementary information used to develop an economic block model for a hypothetical ferromanganese crust deposit located at Fryer Guyot. The model was created to assess the value-generating design requirements of a potential crust mining system. Included in this dataset is an example from one of 50 simulated drill hole sets—comprising Survey.csv, Collar.csv, and Interval_30.csv—which were used to model the deposit in Leapfrog Geo. Also provided is the corresponding Leapfrog Geo project file (Fryer_Guyot_30.zip, in .aproj format), which includes the simulated drill holes, the bathymetry of the hypothetical mine site, and formulas for calculating the dollar value of ore blocks. The block model definition is supplied separately in Block_Model_30.csv.txt.
