This repository contains the data and analysis materials supporting the manuscript “Longitudinal dynamics and spatial persistence of child–heat priority across six contrasting urban systems.” The study examines the spatial distribution and temporal persistence of child–heat priority across New York, London, Singapore, Nairobi, São Paulo and Brisbane from 2016 to 2025. Annual estimates of children aged 0–14 were integrated with warm-season land-surface temperature and land-cover information on a common 1-km spatial grid. Within-city child-population and heat-anomaly percentiles were combined to identify annual top-decile child–heat priority cells. Temporal trajectories, spatial persistence, cross-sensor agreement and sensitivity to alternative analytical settings were subsequently evaluated. The repository includes: • the harmonised city–grid–year analytical panel; • annual coverage and quality-control audit tables; • city-year and three-period composite results; • Landsat–MODIS matched-validation data; • robustness and spatial block-bootstrap results; • source data used to generate the manuscript figures and tables; and • analysis code and supporting documentation. The study uses aggregate, gridded environmental and population estimates and contains no individual-level, identifiable or clinical health information. The deposited materials support reproducibility of an ecological planning-screening framework and should not be interpreted as estimates of individual health risk.
