Integrating Trait-Based Stoichiometry in a Biogeochemical Inverse Model Reveals Links Between Phytoplankton Physiology and Global Carbon Export. <i>Global Biogeochemical Cycles</i>, 38, e2023GB007986. https://doi.org/10.1029/2023GB007986The src directory contains the biogeochemical model that couples the cycling of phosphorus and carbon, including different functions to parameterize the ratio of DIC:DIP uptake by phytoplankton in the model euphotic zone. This directory also contains all MATLAB scripts used to analyze the output and create the figures presented in the publication.The model outputs of each optimization and future sensitivity run are saved in individual NetCDF files, stored in the output_nc directory. The model output data include:Model grid information3D fields of dissolved inorganic phosphorus, dissolved organic phosphorus, particulate organic phosphorus, dissolved inorganic carbon, dissolved organic carbon, particulate organic carbon, alkalinity, and particulate inorganic carbon3D fields of the C:P ratios of phytoplankton uptake in the euphoric zone.2D fields of the C:P ratios of exportAdditional euphoric zone output from the cellular growth model includes cell radius, growth rate, and cellular investments in biosynthetic, photosynthetic, structural machinery, and luxury phosphorus storage.If using this dataset, please cite the original publication of Sullivan et al.
