Morphometric data of Crocodylus moreletii captured in an urban lagoon in southeastern Mexico (labels in Spanish)

We present a morphometric dataset of Crocodylus moreletii obtained from individuals captured in an urban lagoon in southeastern Mexico. This species, listed as subject to special protection in Mexico, has managed to persist in urbanized environments. The dataset includes standard body measurements (total length, snout-cloaca length, head length, head width, weight, among others) taken during capture and handling events. All variable labels are in Spanish. This dataset is useful for urban ecology studies, human-crocodile conflict, and assessments of health status and population structure of the species in anthropized environments.
