Field Content Use Case Name Climate-Health and Earth Observation selected literature database Dataset Name SOTA Overlap Dataset: Manually Reviewed Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses at the Intersection of Climate-Health and Earth Observation Research (January 2019– January 2026) Dataset Description 150 peer-reviewed systematic reviews/meta-analyses at the intersection of climate-related health issues (P1 corpus) and EO-explicit literature (EO-corpus). Each record manually reviewed by BSC, GMV, IZS-TE with structured fields covering health domains, climate drivers, EO products, geographical/temporal coverage, key findings, and limitations. Temporal Domain Publication period of the selected literature in the database: January 2019 – January 2026 Spatial Domain Global Key Variables/Indicators Health domains (19 categories); climate domains (12 categories); EO products; Essential Climate Variables (ECVs) Data Format .xlsx with 10 sheets (Overlap, METHODS, REGEX_DICTIONARIES, ECVs, HEALTH/CLIMATE categories, metadata, etc.) Source Data Papers included in the dataset derive from search strategies performed on Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, etc. The papers were manually reviewed by project partners BSC, GMV, IZS-TE in order to derive the key information, variables and indicators. Limitations/Assumptions Publication bias (English-only; high-income country concentration); EO specification often missing in the reviewed papers since they are meta-analysis and systematic reviews where health issues are well stated but climate sources are rarely detailed
