The regulatory mechanism of feeding a high rice grain diet on the growth and microRNA expression profiles of the spleen, taking goats as an artiodactyls model

Several researches have testified that high rice grain diets feeding induces subacute ruminal acidosis and increases the risk of gastrointestinal inflammation. However, whether high rice grain diets feeding strategy affects spleen growth and related molecular events remain unknown. The present study was, therefore, undertaken to investigate the effects of feeding a high concentrate (HC) diet based on rice grain on the growth and microRNAs expression profiles of the spleen in goats.
