Land-use conflict (LUCI) and fire hotspot data for the Uberaba River Environmental Protection Area, Brazil (2013-2023)

This dataset contains geospatial and tabular data (.shp, .csv) analyzing the relationship between land-use conflicts and wildfire occurrences in the Uberaba River Environmental Protection Area (EPA), Brazil (2013–2023).

Data includes:

Land-Use Conflict Shapefiles (shapes dos conflitos): Annual polygons of land-use conflict areas (Classes 1 and 2), generated using MapBiomas and EMBRAPA data.

Annual Fire Hotspot Tables (tabelas de foco anual): Raw records of active fire hotspots detected within the EPA (Source: INPE).

Processed Distance Analysis Data (gdf_focos_proj_dist_conflito): Integrated geospatial file linking each fire hotspot to its nearest conflict zone distance, used for the main statistical analysis.
