tRNA fragments (tRFs) are molecules that are implicated in various biological processes. In this study, we investigated the role of 3'tRFCysGCA, a tRF derived from tRNACysGCA, in the regulation of gene expression in HEK-293 cells. We stably overexpressed 3tRFCysGCA in HEK293 cells, by intergating one of the tRNACysGCA genes in the HEK293 genome. In this way, three HEK-293 clones were created. Total RNA was extracted from 2 replicates of each clone and 3 of the HEK293 parental cell line and were subjected to poly(A) RNA selection. Next, RNA-seq was performed in the DNBSEQ G50 platform.
