资源简介:
PTHR34046 (OS06G0218800 PROTEIN) is a protein family included in the PANTHER database, which we have named the GCCL gene family. We identified a new gene that rapidly responds to dehydration stress from lespedeza using RNA-seq technology, and research revealed that this gene belongs to the PTHR34046 protein family, which we named CkGCCL1. Through identification and analysis of the GCCL gene family in plants, we found that overexpression of CkGCCL1 causes morphological changes in Arabidopsis. To explore the gene expression differences and potential molecular mechanisms that lead to these phenotypic changes, we performed transcriptome sequencing analysis on wild-type and transgenic Arabidopsis plants. The results showed that in CkGCCL1 transgenic Arabidopsis, the significant changes in the expression of genes related to transcription regulation, signal transduction, defense response, and secondary metabolism synthesis are the main reasons for the phenotypic changes in plant growth and development, while also suggesting that this gene may also affect stress response. This research lays the foundation for further understanding the identification, classification, and biological functions of the plant GCCL gene family.
