Share of non-white equity partners at law firms in the U.S. 2011-2022

Although the share of non-white equity partners at U.S. law firms increased over the last several years, particularly in 2021, the overall percentage has remained significantly low. In 2022, just over five percent of equity partners at law firms in the United States were people of color. In 2011, this figure was approximately three percent, demonstrating an increase of roughly two percent in ten years.
