Downscaled_GWSC_dataset

Based on the problem that the use of Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment GRACE products in smaller areas is limited due to the coarse spatial resolution, we utilized a dynamic downscaling method to improve GRACE-derived groundwater storage changes (GWSC) resolution from 1° to 0.25° and 0.05°. We developed a groundwater storage numerical model with GWSC as a key variable rather than a traditional hydraulic head. The downscaling results were validated with the groundwater level changes and further evaluated the spatiotemporal changes of groundwater storage at both regional and local scales. This file contains the model program and inputs data files, and downscaled groundwater storage changes(GWSC) dataset.
