The datasets were generated from a comprehensive analysis of genome-wide gene expression levels and allele counts. Gene expression levels were calculated using StringTie, while allele-specific expression (ASE) was quantified for heterozygous sites using GATK ASEReadCounter across 7,532 samples. These datasets represent processed results from an ongoing study titled "A multi-tissue atlas of allele-specific expression reveals the characteristics, mechanisms, and relationship with dominant effects in cattle," which is currently under review at BMC Biology.
