Dataset for: Production and Field Deployment of Apical Rooted Cuttings (ARCs) for G0 Potato Seed in Odisha, India (2025)

This project-based dataset documents both the production and field deployment of Apical Rooted Cuttings (ARCs) used for the generation of G0 potato seed (Solanum tuberosum) in Odisha State, India, during 2025. The dataset integrates two complementary components: (i) the number of ARCs of different potato varieties produced at various facilities across Odisha, and (ii) the quantities of ARCs distributed and the corresponding area planted under different potato varieties during the Kharif 2025 and Rabi 2025 seasons. By linking facility-level production data with field-level deployment records, the dataset enables monitoring of varietal deployment, tracking of seed multiplication scale, and assessment of seasonal production intensity. It supports performance evaluation, strategic planning, and strengthening of early generation potato seed systems within cluster-based interventions.
