Each file records the name of the prisoner defended by a legal officer of the Department, the charge, date and place of hearings, subsequent action and result of trial. Also included are: depositions of witnesses, defendant's statement, record of exhibits and correspondence concerning verification of the prisoner's statements and the provision of legal assistance between the Public Solicitor and the Department of the Attorney General and Justice.
