Voting intention for 2022 presidential elections in Brazil, by age

According to a survey carried out in August 2022, Lula da Silva led the opinion poll across all age groups. The candidate of the Workers' Party (PT) was particularly popular among younger people, as 51 percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 claimed that they would cast a ballot for him. Regarding the incumbent president, Jair Bolsonaro, he gathered his largest voting intention across Brazilians whose age ranged from 35 to 59 years. The voting intention for Bolsonaro was also higher among men than women.
