BASTA improves migration rate estimation in the Archipelago scenario.

To compare migration rate estimation between MTT and BASTA in a setting with moderate complexity we simulated an Archipelago model with two groups of four subpopulations and with 40 samples per population. 50 replicates were simulated. Performance relates to estimation of the migration rate between islands in the same archipelago and between islands in different archipelagos. a proportion of rates among all replicates for which the truth fell within the 95% credible interval. b correlation between the truth and the point estimate. c root mean square error of the point estimate.
