Koala database: sample details and genetic data

These data are utilised in the thesis entitled “<em>Genetic data from koala scats: method development and investigation of a unique population in South Gippsland</em>”. This Microsoft Access file contains details of:individual koalas sampled,replicate and consensus genotypes using 12 microsatellite markers,mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplotypes for the mtDNA control region, the cytochrome b gene and DNA spanning genes for NADH dehydrogenase subunits 5 and 6,results of PCR assays for the detection of <em>Chlamydia</em> <em>pecorum</em> and koala retrovirus (KoRV-A) and genotypes for the <em>C</em>. <em>pecorum</em> <em>ompA</em> gene and KoRV-A <em>env</em> gene for some positive samples.Sequence data for haplotypes and genotypes can be found here: https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.5656159.v1 <br>
