资源简介:
A snapshot of a couple on a horse-drawn trolley at Selig Zoo, Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, California, USA, circa 1920. The view shows the same man and woman from item .3 on the car, with the man sitting in the driver's seat in front and the woman leaning out a car window. In the background are set structures and the side of the car has German wording for a hotel on it. William Selig moved from his film studio from Edendale (Los Feliz area) to Lincoln Heights in 1917, where he was developing a zoo, but the company soon ceased operations. A post-it note inscription indicates that this and other photos in the accession were from an "abandoned movie set at Selig." The man here may be a Mr. Hummel. With fragments of album mounting corners and some soiling, the overall condition is good.
