On the 14 September 2024, heavy reain with huge floods are reported to have affected Lower Austria, Austria. Storm caused forest damages and snowfall above 800 m caused wet snow avalanches until 17 September 2024 due to cold temperature. Danube river, Danube tributary rivers, surface and slope water caused landslides. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide initial roughestimation, flood extent and damage assessment emergency mapping.
