Introduction of glycine synthase enables assimilation of C1 carbon via the reductive glycine pathway and strongly impacts the metabolism in Clostridium pasteurianum. The following datasets contain all analytical data for each cultivation experiments used for the characterization of Clostridium pasteurianum R525 glycine synthase mutant (GCSY1) in comparison with the wildtype Clostridium pasteurianum R525 (WT) strain.
