Code and data for dust-day detection and classification in Kuwait City, 2003–2025

Code and data supporting the paper "Identifying and Classifying Dust Days in Kuwait City with a Reanalysis Dust Loading Index and Modeled PM10". The archive contains (i) the Python code that prepares the daily dataset from CAMS EAC4 and MERRA-2 files (Part 0) and reproduces every table and figure of the paper and its Supplementary Material (Parts 1–10), and (ii) the raw and processed input data (CAMS NetCDF files, MERRA-2 hourly dust optical depth, the METAR archive of Kuwait International Airport), the daily dataset (kuwaity.csv, 8,401 days, 2003–2025), the daily METAR flags, the satellite review labels for the 1,681 dust days, and all result tables and figures.
