资源简介:
Tracking tunnel and trapping data used in manuscript titled "Can tracking tunnels be used to estimate relative abundance and activity of commensal roof rats?" by Miles Bosarge, Paul Stapp, and Niamh Quinn. Contains four datasheets.
"trapping_tracking tunnel data_final" contains raw and processed trapping data from live- and snap-traps collected from 11 institutional and commercial research sites in Orange County, California. First sheet contains processed data, following sheets labeled A - K contain raw data from each study site.
"tracking tunnel %-cover_residential yards_final" contains raw tracking tunnel data (percent cover of tracks as estimated by ImageJ, number of rat tracks, and tracking index) for each tracking tunnel placed in residential study sites in Orange County, California.
"weeklyindex_activity_final" contains processed data of the nightly activity of rats (average proportion of night hours with rat activity) and the tracking tunnel track index (%-cover of rat tracks) for each week and site at 36 residential study sites in Orange County, California.
"Photo Data_raw" contains raw text files from photomechanic associated with photos used to calculate nightly activity of rats at each station. Removed photos containing no animals in images, animals frequently detected in the background (livestock or pets), or sites which the data was requested not to be used (one site).
