The following project aims to evaluate elite basketball players' body composition and draw sports-specific models.
The expected outcomes are supposed to enhance the body composition evaluation, proposing new explanatory approaches to reduce the error propagation and biological variability.
The following registration contains the whole dataset, with no sensitive data (according to privacy by informed consent), divided into three separate files: DATASET_1.csv, Internal consistency.csv, and test-retest.csv. In addition, data file summaries have been provided (Data description.pdf). Statistical procedures have been reported (BASKETBALL_SAS).
No prior registration was provided due to the study design (cross-sectional).
