Virtual Fly Brain

VFB is an interactive tool for neurobiologists to explore the detailed neuroanatomy, neuron connectivity and gene expression of Drosophila melanogaster. Our goal is to make it easier for researchers to find relevant anatomical information and reagents. We integrate the neuroanatomical and expression data from the published literature, as well as image datasets onto the same brain template, making it possible to run cross searches, find similar neurons and compare image data on our 3D Viewer.VFB是一款面向神经生物学家的交互式研究工具，可用于探究黑腹果蝇（Drosophila melanogaster）的精细神经解剖结构、神经元连接特性与基因表达特征。我们的核心目标是简化研究人员获取相关解剖学信息与实验试剂的流程。我们将已发表文献中的神经解剖学与基因表达数据，以及各类图像数据集整合至统一的大脑模板中，从而支持在我们的3D Viewer中开展跨库检索、匹配相似神经元以及比对图像数据等操作。
