Transient rheology of granular materials and the implications for the mechanics of landslide basal shear zone
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the rheology experimental data presented in the manuscript, "Transient rheology of granular materials and the implications for the mechanics of landslide basal shear zone." The data are presented in five subfolders: velocity-stepping experiments data for silica powder: <silica_powder_vs> velocity-stepping experiments data for the Oak Ridge Earthflow Observatory (OREO) shear zone sample: <OREO_vs> Slide-hold-slide experiments data for silica powder: <silica_powder_shs> Slide-hold-slide experiments data for the Oak Ridge Earthflow Observatory (OREO) shear zone sample: <OREO_shs> velocity-stepping experiments data for silica powder at different shear zone thicknesses: <shear_zone_thickness_effect> Most columns of data in the experiments' ".txt" files are self-explanatory (time, shear stress, normal stress, rotational speed, gap). The variable "gap" refers to the thickness of the shear zone in the loading geometry. The test numbers referring to data files are cited in Figures 3 to 5 in the main manuscript.
