Number of pupils in pre-primary school in Algeria 2015-2020

In the 2019/2020 school year, around 506,000 pupils were attending pre-primary education in Algeria, approximately 10,000 more than in the previous school year. Pre-primary school corresponds to the nursery, which is known as the école préparatoire in Algeria. It precedes primary education and is attended by pupils aged approximately three to six years.
