Drifter Releases in the Ebb Tidal Plume of Main Pass, Mobile Bay, AL (Fall 2016)

Drifters were released in the ebb tide of Mobile Bay characterizing the structure and fate of the plume on the shelf. Variables of tropic-equatorial (spring neap) tides, high low discharge, and varying wind conditions were used. The data was collected during the fall of 2016 at the mouth of Mobile Bay and the Mississippi Bright with releases of 8 hours to a week. The data includes GPS locations with accompanying time stamps.
