Groundwater Rise Caused by 1-ft SLR

Groundwater modeling was used to simulate the effects of sea-level rise on groundwater levels in the New Hampshire Seacoast. The computer code MODFLOW-USG Transport (Panday, 2022) was used to simulate groundwater flow and saltwater intrusion in these communities. This map shows the extent of the groundwater rise caused by 1 foot of sea level rise.本研究采用地下水建模方法，模拟海平面上升对新罕布什尔州海岸带地下水位的影响。本次模拟使用MODFLOW-USG Transport（Panday, 2022）模型代码，对该区域沿岸社区的地下水流与盐水入侵过程进行数值模拟。本图展示了海平面上升1英尺所引发的地下水位抬升范围。
