Single cell profiling of lung carcinoid tumors

Tumor tissue of lung carcinoid tumors (pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors) and adjacent normal lung tissue was profiled using scRNA-seq Pairs of tumor and normal lung tissue samples of 3 lung carcinoid patients were collected after surgical removal of the tumor. In addition, 7 normal lung tissue samples were collected from lung adenocarcinoma patients. Normal tissue samples of patients 2 and 4-10 have already been part of a previous study (patient 2 = P028, patient 4 = P018, patient 5 = P019, patient 6 = P027, patient 7 = P029, patient 8 = P030, patient 9 = P031 and patient 10 = P033) (Bischoff et al., Oncogene 2021). Tissue was dissociated into single cell suspensions. Single cells were loaded into a comercial drop-seq device (Chromium controller, 10x Genomics) and scRNA-seq libraries were generated using single cell 3' v3 kits from 10x Genomics. ***Raw data not available due to patient privacy concerns***
