The n and y in the column cluster indicate if cluster was retained in the most appropriate model or not (n = no and y = yes). Significance: *** (P<0.001), ** (P<0.01), * (P<0.05),. (P<0.1). N indicates the number of sampling stations used in the model. AIC (Akaike’s Information Criteria) was the parameter used for model selection with smaller AIC for the models of the same taxon indicating better explanation of variance. Estimates indicate significant and non-significant positive or negative correlation between a dimension and taxon abundance. Non-significant correlations were not displayed in the table.
