U.S. trust in select entities to keep coronavirus tracking data secure 2020

According to a December 2020 survey of U.S. adults, 52 percent of respondents trusted researchers at universities to keep the data collected about them to better track the spread of the coronavirus pandemic protected and secure. Additionally, 50 percent of respondents trusted federal agencies to do so. Only 38 percent of respondents trusted tech companies to fully ensure data security for coronavirus tracing data.
