Numbers of modelled parameters (K), differences in AICc (ΔAICc), AICc model weights (wi), and estimated population sizes with standard errors (N̂ ± SE) are shown for all models, except of models were heterogeneity and misidentification were confounded (–). Highest ranked models according to AICc are highlighted in bold. For each year, we specified the weighted average population size for males (N̂males), females (N̂females), and the entire population (N̂total) together with their standard errors (SE) and 95% confidence intervals (CI).
