Appendices - Interview findings extracted from NVivo 12 Plus Software

Over the past seven years, these industries have shown low compliance with the Industrial Effluent Regulation 2009, prompting an exploration of their adaptability to regulations. This dataset presents comments from stakeholders about the environmental challenges faced by industrial sectors in Malaysia in adhering to industrial effluent regulations. The comments state the primary factors contributing to non-compliance and the perspectives, knowledge, and needs of Malaysian industries regarding environmental compliance. Thirteen stakeholders from various industries with environmental management experience participated in the study.
