Sina Weibo dataset of electric scooters in Shenzhen from 2017 to 2025

The data collection is based on the commercial API interface provided by Sina Weibo, covering two parts: Weibo body data and Weibo comment data, which are crawled monthly. The filtering of Weibo content data follows two criteria: first, the publisher's IP is limited to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province; second, the content must contain specific search keywords, namely "electric bicycle", "electric bicycle", "electric vehicle", "electric scooter", "electric chicken", "electric donkey", "non motorized vehicle", and "motorcycle and power restrictions". The Weibo comment data is traversed and captured based on the final obtained list of Weibo IDs in the main text. The dataset spans from December 2017 to September 2025, totaling 94 months. The dataset provided by this research institute is the raw dataset that has not been cleaned.
